How to Use Cold Peel DTF Transfers

1. Prepare Your Surface

   • Ensure your garment is clean, dry, and wrinkle-free.
   • Preheat your heat press to 325°F (160°C) or follow the temperature recommended for your specific transfer and material.

2. Position the Transfer

   • Place your garment flat on the heat press.
   • Align the DTF transfer design (printed side down, adhesive side touching the garment) on the desired area. Use heat-resistant tape if needed to keep the design in place.

3. Press the Transfer

   • Cover the transfer with parchment paper or a Teflon sheet.
   • Close the heat press and apply medium pressure for 10–15 seconds.

4. Let It Cool

   • Carefully remove the garment from the press and place it on a flat, cool surface.
   • Allow the transfer to cool completely (about 2–5 minutes) before peeling. The cold peel ensures proper adhesion and prevents smudging.

5. Peel the Film

   • Slowly and steadily peel the transfer film off at a low angle. Check that the design has fully adhered to the garment.

6. Optional Second Press

   • For added durability, place a parchment or Teflon sheet over the design and heat press again for 5–10 seconds with medium pressure. This step ensures the design is securely bonded and gives a smooth finish.
